Villa Camilla was the first boutique eco resort on Providenciales & still proudly maintains its designation as the only privately held nature preserve in the Turks. Since 1987, all native vegetation has been fiercely protected and augmented with locally sourced, exotic flowering plants. Because we only use biodegradable non-toxic pest controls, the landscape is replete with native & migrating fauna (hummingbirds, woodpeckers, doves, herons, ospreys, bananaquits, butterflies, frogs, lizards, and geckos). As a testament to the environmental commitment of our entire team, it is one of the last known locations in the entire Turks & Caicos Islands for the endangered Giant Erebus to safely reproduce.
Our two saltwater pools are solar heated in the wintertime, with hammocks & loungers for lazing away the day. When the ocean beckons, take a 2min walk across our property to the sugar-fine, powder white sand of Grace Bay Beach. Whether you want to: go on a shopping spree, enjoy a Michelin quality restaurant, take an afternoon ride at Provo Pony’s or hire a boat through Caicos Catalyst, all are within a leisurely 5-15min drive.
The seclusion from other properties provides uninterrupted mesmerizing views at all times of the night or day: 100 shades of turquoise water can be seen from the living spaces, sunsets are glorious from the west-facing decks & nighttime stargazers are often rewarded with polychromatic meteor showers or rocket launches from Cape Canaveral! The villa is gated, surrounded by an electronic fence, and has one of the best security systems on the island.
